THE ROLLING STONES REVIVAL PRAGUE play the songs of the best rock'n'roll group ever. Maximum attention is paid to a true performance giving visitors an opportunity to enjoy the fascinating atmosphere of the real Stones' concert.
The band was established in the early eighties by various artists and their friends, who played the Stones' music at private parties just for fun. Soon, experienced musicians joined the band, pushing it from the above mentioned home-performances to real stages. As a result of all the restrictions reigning over the former communist Czechoslovakia, it was nearly impossible to sing in English so the band was mostly illegal until the break point in autumn 1989. The "Velvet Revolution" brought the wind of changes to the lives of all people of former Czechoslovakia, opening a wide spectrum of opportunities to exercise in many kinds of jobs. Since that time the band has played hundreds of successful gigs (in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Austria and Germany) for various clubs, cultural centres, festivals, promotional work, company parties and last but not least for all Czech main TV stations and Austrian ORF. There have been a plenty of articles written about us in the most important Czech music magazines, and a few foreign ones as well. The complete repertoire of the band comprises of more than 50 songs, including their rare live-variants, all for a very reasonable price.
